Amazing Aloe Vera

Posted on March 7, 2013 at 3:45 AM

When I say aloe vera is the most impressive medicinal herb invented by nature, I don't make that statement lightly. Of all the herbs I've ever studied -- and I've written thousands of articles on nutrition and disease prevention -- aloe vera is the most impressive herb of them all. (Garlic would be a close second.) There is nothing on this planet that offers the amazing variety of healing benefits granted by aloe vera. In a single plant, aloe vera offers potent, natural medicine that:

• Halts the growth of cancer tumors.

• Lowers high cholesterol.

• Repairs "sludge blood" and reverses "sticky blood".

• Boosts the oxygenation of your blood.

• Eases inflammation and soothes arthritis pain.

• Protects the body from oxidative stress.

• Prevents kidney stones and protects the body from oxalates in coffee and tea.

• Alkalizes the body, helping to balance overly acidic dietary habits.

• Cures ulcers, IBS, Crohn's disease and other digestive disorders.

• Reduces high blood pressure natural, by treating the cause, not just the symptoms.

• Nourishes the body with minerals, vitamins, enzymes and glyconutrients.

• Accelerates healing from physical burns and radiation burns.

• Replaces dozens of first aid products, makes bandages and antibacterial sprays obsolete.

• Halts colon cancer, heals the intestines and lubricates the digestive tract.

• Ends constipation.

• Stabilizes blood sugar and reduces triglycerides in diabetics.

• Prevents and treats candida infections.

• Protects the kidneys from disease.

• Functions as nature's own "sports drink" for electrolyte balance, making common sports drinks obsolete.

• Boosts cardiovascular performance and physical endurance.

• Speeds recovery from injury or physical exertion.

• Hydrates the skin, accelerates skin repair.

Truly, there is nothing else that compares to the medicinal potential of aloe vera. And yet most people only know about the topical applications of aloe vera gel. They think it's only good for sunburns. In reality, aloe vera is useful for both external and internal use.

Blemishes (PIHP)

The underlying cause of the dreaded blemish is inflammation. The condition is known as Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation or PIHP pronounced “pip” in my office. Black skin is very sensitive to dehydration and very sensitive to inflammation. Therefore Black skin has a much higher incidence of blemishes and dark spots. The best example of PIHP is the darkness around your knees and elbows. Everybody Black has a dark spot around their knees where they had a minor childhood injury, which healed and more than 20 years later the dark spot is still there. What I know about Black skin is that ; if the wound heals, the inflammation resolves and the color comes back at the same time Black Skin will heal with a dark spot. It doesn’t matter what causes the inflammation the issue is how the skin responds to the inflammation.

Facial inflammation is caused most commonly by pimples. Dark circles around the eyes may be caused by underlying inflammation in the sinuses. Minor Inflammation can be aggravated by makeup. Healthy skin will respond better to any challenge and will be less likely to blemish.

Basic formu

2. The colon is the source of internal inflammation. The condition of the colon is related to the condition of the skin. You should have a bowel movement with every meal. 85% of African American women have 7 or less bowel movements per week. This condition generally begins in puberty. I recommend a 30day colon cleanse. Colonics clean the colon which is great but they do not strengthen the colon. Colon cleansing drinks over 30 days will cleanse and strengthen the colon so it can take care of it self.

External

1. Use products that control oil while hydrating the skin. Do not wash the face with soap. Soap is an alkaline detergent by definition and pulls the water out of the skin. Do not use rubbing alcohol or witch hazel on the facial skin. Alcohol also dehydrates the skin and witch hazel is 80% alcohol.

2. Use products that contain natural anti-inflammatories, avoid makeup when the skin is inflamed and do not burst pimples. Use a facial wash or cleanser.la to achieve healthy skin

Internal

1.You must be well hydrated. I recommend 64 ounces of water a day for adults, especially African Americans.
